Free student COVID testing
Please help our school stay safe by participating in both programs!
Take the free weekly at-home test (Ambry)
Pick up tests every Monday at school and watch this video or read these instructions. Please don't forget that every week, you need to register each test kit online.

District COVID Protocols
Do your part to keep our children safe and our schools open! Please review and follow Franklin's COVID protocols, and please consider fully vaccinating your child. Some important highlights:
If your child is sick (or might be)
Please keep them home! If in doubt, please err on the side of caution.
They may return to school after they meet the CDPH criteria
If your child has a confirmed case of COVID
Contact the school immediately (650-259-3850 or jlawrence@burlingameschools.org) and
Quarantine as per guidelines.
If anyone in your home has a confirmed case, or your child has been in close contact with a confirmed case
Contact the school immediately (650-259-3850 or jlawrence@burlingameschools.org)
If your child is not fully vaccinated, please quarantine as per guidelines. (See exception for "exposed at school" below.)
If your child gets sick at school,
The school will contact you immediately to pick up your child.
If your child is exposed at school
The school will contact you if your child was in close contact with a confirmed case at school.
If your child is asymptomatic they may be able to continue attending school with twice weekly in-school rapid testing, under a "modified quarantine" protocol, or if they are fully vaccinated.
You must pre-register for rapid testing (Binax). Modified quarantine details on page 22 here.
If your child travels
If not fully vaccinated, please self-quarantine for 10 days upon return (or 7 days with testing)
